Every barrio in Barcelona has their own yearly street festival and fiesta but undoubtedly the most famous and most longed for is the one coming up this Friday – La Major Festa de Gracia (15th – 21th of August).
Expect a week of absolutely fantastic insanity where old and young gather together on the streets watching parades, listening to live music, admiring the different streets amazing decorations (there is an honourable first price for the best decorated street to be won) and dancing the days and nights away.
There will be things happening at every plaza and every street corner, it will be absolutely impossible to get bored.
