Bank holidays in Spain

It is officially September and I am back to writing.

You simply must love Spain for all their bank holidays, at least I do.

We all know September means TWO bank holidays for us lucky living in Barcelona.

First up we have El Día Nacional de Cataluña tomorrow the 11th when you should head to Born for example to check out the flags hanging from windows and balconies and happy Catalans roaming around the streets singing and celebrating.

On the 24th it is La Mercé if I am not terrible mistaken and oh my I will write more about it I promise. The town is filled with posters about it (even if you try to avoid Las Ramblas I am sure you have seen them elsewhere too). I have already signed up for a party out in some random factory that day I will keep you posted.
