New Years in Barcelona!

Christmas holidays came up and whoooops, the blog went out the window. I am terribly sorry but here I am back again, starting slowly though, do not expect too much of the blog the next days since TODAY IS THE LAST DAY OF THE YEAR.

Everyone has something to do for New Years?

If you find yourself in Barcelona and do not know what to do, well, there is quite a tray of options.

grapesforluckMost people of Barcelona will start the night with a private dinner often with family or the closest circle of friends, have a few drinks and eat twelve grapes at midnight, all at the same time, for luck. After this we will all head out.

Most local bars will open late, often after midnight and instead stay open until 6 am in the morning. Clubs are open all night and some until 4 pm tomorrow afternoon. Some charge ridiculous amounts for a cover charge and some do not, browse the internet for more information.

If you have absolutely no idea to go, head down Las Ramblas and talk to the promotion guys down there, even if they are working for commission, they will still be able to tell you where to go!

Most of all, I want to wish you a Happy New Year. Make the best of it!
