Barcelona’s in Fashion

Barcelona has always been proudly at the forefront of fashion and design. It was one of the first cities to embrace Fashion catwalkindustrialisation and now it is the home of great Spanish brands like Custo Barcelona,  Zara and Mango. Not to mention the Catalan style of the local people. What was lost when the Barcelona Fashion Week also called the Pasarela Gaudí was cancelled in 2001 has been restored since 2006 when the city was chosen toreplace Berlin as the host of the United Nations of Bread and Butter Tradeshow. It takes place January 21st to 23rd in the Fira de Barcelona.

Unfortunately it being a trade show means that the rest of us aren’t allowed in… Boo! Not fair 😦
